2025 Round Up
If I had to sum up 2025 in one word, it would be rollercoaster. There were some incredible highs, some proper lows and plenty of moments that tested me.
The year began with our New Year Reset Workshop, a winter escape to Fuerteventura, and the arrival of my second baby niece, Fiorella . February brought a snowboarding trip where I somehow escaped injury (but I did wipe my best mate out… sorry Fran).
March was a big turning point in business. Alex headed off on maternity leave (huge congratulations on baby Theo ), which led to my first ever Indeed job advert. From that came Suzanne and Tom, our brilliant sports therapists, meaning LHrehab is now officially open seven days a week.
I also roped in my uni bestie Izzy. She’s a physiotherapist & has been a great addition to the team! She has since landed an incredible job at Bath Rugby – meaning she will be taking a little step back, but we are hoping to keep her for ad-hoc sessions in 2026!
March also saw the Bath Half Marathon, where I knocked 29 minutes off my PB whilst running for Hannah’s Willberry Wonder Pony. Thanks to so many of you, nearly £2,000 was raised & LHrehab sponsored the whole teams run vests – something I’m incredibly proud of.
April was chaos with diagnoses of ADHD and pernicious anaemia mid-marathon training. Add in running a business and a girls’ holiday involving questionable weather and norovirus, and it was… a lot .
June was without a doubt the hardest month, when my dad fell off a ladder resulting in brain damage (round two) & a smashed up hand. He’s still recovering, but we’re incredibly lucky to still have him.
The second half of the year brought some lighter moments — celebrating our third wedding anniversary, Glastonbury & Y Not Festival, six years of LHrehab, my 28th birthday, and Ben starting a new job closer to home that has genuinely changed our lives.
October was bittersweet. We lost Ben’s lovely grandad, I wrote off my car (yes, again), but I also ran the Amsterdam Marathon. After months of struggling with injuries, I crossed the finish line holding my besties hand… only to end up on crutches shortly after .
December rounded things off with another baby — welcome to little Ava, the first of our friend group — festive London trips, and hosting Christmas.
LHrehab 2025 highlights
• 1,627 appointments
• 154 new clients
• 801 clients on the books
• Three exciting collaborations (RecoveryBox, The Run Doctor & Future of football)
• Big (little) steps forward with social media
So here’s to a year of growth, resilience, learning, and gratitude. I’ve no idea what the next year holds — and for once, I’m okay with that.
Bring on 2026.
All my love,
Lydia xx
